With a strong online presence, a high volume of inbound leads, and a premium product range, they are focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience that converts.</p><h3>The Role: Sales Consultant</h3><p>This role is pivotal to the business's B2C sales success. You will join a remote internal sales team and be responsible for converting inbound leads into closed sales through proactive calling, email follow-ups, and reactive enquiry handling. You will drive sales by understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring the process from sample request to order placement is seamless and fast.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2-3 years of proven tele-sales experience, ideally in a similar B2C environment</li><li>Proactively follow up on inbound leads via phone, email, and chat to close sales</li><li>Understand product range and match solutions to customer needs and budgets</li><li>Drive clients to quotation stage quickly and manage the full sales process</li><li>Ensure stock is allocated and raise sales orders accurately</li><li>Provide aftercare and key account support to drive repeat business</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service with speed, friendliness, and professionalism</li><li>Maintain CRM data (PipeDrive or similar) and manage the full sales pipeline</li><li>Track key performance metrics: quote value, follow-ups, conversion rates</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>2+ years of experience in tele-sales or B2C account management</li><li>Strong verbal and written English communication skills</li><li>Confident using CRM tools like PipeDrive and working with online chat/email</li><li>Highly organised, reliable, and self-motivated</li><li>Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment</li><li>Positive, ethical, and customer-focused approach to sales</li><li>Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record in closing deals</li><li>Basic math skills for pricing and quoting</li><li>Must be based in Cape Town and able to work UK hours (8:30am5pm)</li><li>Own equipment is a bonus, but not required</li></ul><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
