This unique role will be a part of SpaceX's education team. Our goal is to support the education of all children who are a part of the Starbase SpaceX community. As such, this job comes with many responsibilities but primarily entails designing and leading many bespoke Starbase youth programs, especially as they relate to extracurriculars and camps.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and execute on camp programming (e.g., Summer Odyssey, Thanksgiving camp, winter break camp, spring break camps)

Design a bespoke, rigorous, enriching aftercare program curriculum

Create an intentional calendar of events and programs throughout the year that impacts all Starbase children

Support the Starbase Education and Ad Astra teams in achieving their goals in academic excellence and social-emotional wellness

Lead groups of teachers and aides in executing programming

Work with the broader Starbase community (e.g., parents) in further building youth programming

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree

Experience building and managing significant projects to high levels of success

Experience working in education environments with strong achievement

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Has experience building and implementing programs

Is passionate about disruptive educational opportunities

Has experience in prioritization and time management

Has experience in stakeholder management and presenting to senior leaders

Is deeply curious and ready to learn and work hard in high pressure, fast-paced environments

Has a deep heart for all children and believes in their ability to learn and grow

Higher education degrees in related fields

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work extended hours, through the summer

Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed

Must be able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted

ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
