Our Wholesale Banking business is present and active in 11 major economies in the Asia Pacific, namely China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. Role Summary As a Vice President in Financial Markets Sales , you will support and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, helping them navigate financial markets and make informed decisions in areas such as investing and risk management. You’ll work closely with Client Relationship Managers and colleagues across Trading and Research to identify opportunities that create value for both our clients and ING. This is a client‑facing role where curiosity, commercial drive and collaboration matter just as much as technical knowledge. Financial markets product knowledge is beneficial but not essential—you’ll have the chance to build depth on the job. About the Team You will be part of our Financial Markets Sales team within Wholesale Banking , based in our Manila branch . The team works closely with regional partners and global product specialists to deliver impactful solutions for our corporate clients. We’re an open, collaborative and internationally connected group committed to continuous learning and delivering exceptional client outcomes. What You’ll Do Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients. Manage a portfolio of corporate customers with meaningful potential across investment and risk‑mitigation solutions. Identify, evaluate and pursue commercial opportunities that grow ING’s share of wallet while ensuring balanced outcomes for clients and the bank. Stay up to date with developments in global financial markets and translate market, product and industry insights into actionable conversations with clients. Collaborate closely with Trading, Research and internal stakeholders to align commercial opportunities with ING’s risk appetite. Build a strong internal and external network, both locally and internationally, to support information flow, market awareness and professional development. Embed ING policies on strategy, customer focus, risk and compliance into your daily work. Required Skills & Experience 8-10 Years experience in client‑facing roles, ideally within financial services, banking, or corporate coverage. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to spot and develop opportunities. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Collaborative mindset and comfort working with cross‑functional teams. Sound judgement with an understanding of risk, compliance and responsible client engagement.
