Works with business stakeholders, managers, and other developers to create solutions to business problems.</li><li>Translates functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs; Provides estimates for development effort; Implementing proof of concept, prototypes and production-grade software; writes unit tests;</li><li>Supports Avantor internal and global web applications for enhancements and break-fix.</li><li>Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.</li><li>Deliver against specific timescales.</li><li>Work in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions.</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Able to communicate with business representatives, system analysts, managers etc.</li><li>Able to comprehend business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding into design and implementation.</li></ul><h3>THOSE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB COMPETENTLY:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience and/or certificates.</li><li>5+ years of E-Commerce development with at least 3 years in SAP Hybris Commerce / SAP Cloud Commerce</li><li>Hands on Experience on Hybris Core Architecture, Cockpits, Impex, SmartEdit and PCM/Backoffice Customization</li><li>Knowledge of Spartacus, Zul backend development, Solr.</li><li>Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Transactions), Restful API, JSON, XML/XSLT, Java script.</li><li>Experience on open-source tools and frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, ANT, MAVEN, JUNIT.</li><li>Good knowledge and understanding of DOM, HTML, CSS and JavaScript OOP, MVC, Responsive, Javacript/Jquery and object oriented concept</li><li>Experience on either of Application Servers – JBOSS, Tomcat.</li><li>Experience working with Apache/Nginix.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of relational database structure and design using Azure Sql, Oracle 11G &amp; PostgreSql. </li></ul><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
