Copywriter (LATAM Spanish)

JOB PURPOSE

As a Spanish Copywriter, you will join our global Copy Team made up of 70+ people around the world. You'll write and shape CRM content for one of our key accounts. You will work closely with key stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing copy that showcases our clients' voice and furthers their brand story.

This role requires a genuine passion for editing and giving critical feedback. You will be expected to uphold our clients' creative standards, while continuing to push new ideas and embody DEPT® 's entrepreneurial spirit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Create clear, effective and original Spanish copy (es-419) and content for our clients' CRM marketing

Write content for various channels

Provide clear, effective feedback

Give directional brand and tone of voice guidance

Establish, strengthen, and uphold copy standards

Establish processes and policies to maximise efficiency

Deliver creative ideas confidently both internally and externally

Offer strategic messaging insights on creative campaigns

Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration

Facilitate creative brainstorms and other necessary meetings

Exhibit leadership and professionalism across all interactions

WHAT YOU BRING:

Experience as a Spanish language copywriter is a must, and a background in agency or brand is preferred

Excellent Spanish and English communication skills

Experience editing content and giving and receiving feedback is necessary

Experience in the e-commerce/transportation technology a plus

Translation and/or transcreation experience a plus

In-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy and brand development a big plus

Understanding of social media content best practices and trends preferred

Ability to deliver compelling marketing and content copy that sells is essential

Confidence working with other departments and stakeholders such as designers, developers, and clients is essential

Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets

An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey

Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically

A collaborative approach to getting things done

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $55,000 – $60,000 CAD. Salary is based on relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact.
