The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes within the banking sector and extensive experience in implementing Ariba solutions to optimize procurement and sourcing operations.</p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ol><li><strong>Design and Architectural Planning</strong>: Develop comprehensive supply chain architecture strategies aligned with the organization's business goals and objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions that leverage Ariba's capabilities effectively.</li><li><strong>Ariba Implementation and Integration</strong>: Lead the implementation of Ariba solutions within the banking environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. Configure Ariba modules to meet specific business needs and drive process efficiency.</li><li><strong>Process Optimization</strong>: Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline procurement, sourcing, and vendor management workflows, leveraging Ariba functionalities to achieve operational excellence.</li><li><strong>Vendor Management</strong>: Oversee vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li><strong>Risk Management and Compliance</strong>: Mitigate supply chain risks by implementing robust compliance measures and monitoring mechanisms. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure adherence to relevant standards and guidelines.</li><li><strong>Training and Support</strong>: Provide training and support to end-users on Ariba solutions and best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor team members to enhance their understanding of supply chain processes and Ariba functionalities.</li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong>: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in supply chain management and procurement. Evaluate new tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.</li></ol><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.</li><li>Proven experience as a Supply Chain Architect within the banking domain, with a strong focus on procurement and sourcing processes.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Ariba solutions, including Ariba Procurement, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contract Management, and Ariba Supplier Management.</li><li>Experience leading end-to-end Ariba implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.</li><li>Certification in Ariba solutions (e.g., Ariba Procurement Professional, Ariba Supplier Management Professional) preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.</li></ul><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
