Strategy & Operations Principal, Driver Supply

As a Strategy & Operations Principal,
Driver Supply, you will lead a diverse array of projects directly impacting Via's operations. You will set strategy, develop partnerships, lead end-to-end projects, and own outcomes across financial and operational analyses, process improvement, new product development and launch, and more. You will work across Via's business portfolio to drive continuous improvement and innovation in transit services around the world.
**This role is based in NYC with a 3x per week office requirement.**
What You'll Do:
Drive targets: Own the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual operations and financial targets by developing and implementing innovative strategies
Lead the frontline : Directly manage, mentor, and motivate a team of hourly specialists tasked with executing core daily workflows
Strategic impact: Engage in strategic decision-making, rigorous project planning, and employ an entrepreneurial mindset to continually evolve Via's operations
Operational excellence: Manage essential aspects of daily operations to ensure successful service launches and smooth ongoing operations
Analyze and optimize: Conduct frequent analysis of operational data to track team performance, measure the impact of workflow changes, and support data-driven decision making
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization, including Product, Partner Success, Sales, Expansion, and Operations, to deliver projects and support impact for our partners and riders
Scale through efficiency: Identify opportunities within your team's workflow to actively implement automation tools and smarter processes to increase throughput
Who You Are:
Experienced operations manager, with at least 6 - 10 years of experience and hold a Bachelor's degree
You are an independent self-starter, you thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with a very high level of responsibility
Have a Bachelor's Degree with a record of exceptional academic achievement
Effective communicator: You excel in conducting complex analyses and can distill key insights for various audiences, with a knack for finding the right tone
Project ownership: Effective at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and comfortable taking on responsibility and working in an independent manner
Collaborative team player: Skilled at generating buy-in and working effectively within a multi-team, multi-geography organization.
You are an experienced and exceptional leader: people love working with you and for you, and you have extensive experience leading support teams
You are a detail-oriented executor: you're obsessively action-oriented, and thrive while operating autonomously
You are effective at managing multiple tasks simultaneously; you can delegate, prioritize, and take responsibility
You are a problem solver; you don't accept the status quo and are always looking for creative solutions
Compensation and Benefits:
Final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable
Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000 / year
