QA Lead | Offshore

<h3>Job Description:</h3><p style="margin-left:0px;">As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will lead a team of QA engineers, define testing strategies, and implement best practices to identify and prevent defects throughout the software development lifecycle.</p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ol><li>Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support in all aspects of quality assurance.</li><li>Develop and implement QA processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.</li><li>Design, execute, and automate test cases to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of software applications.</li><li>Identify and prioritize areas for test automation, and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.</li><li>Establish and maintain test environments and test data sets to support ongoing testing activities.</li><li>Monitor and analyze test results, identify defects and track them to resolution using bug tracking systems.</li><li>Participate in release planning and deployment activities, ensuring that quality objectives are met for each release.</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.</li></ol><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ol><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Proven experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.</li><li>Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.</li><li>Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).</li><li>Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.</li><li>ISTQB or other relevant certifications are desirable but not required.</li></ol><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
