You are the architect of the factory floor and the guardian of the lead time. As a Production and Capacity Planner, your job is to balance the "What we want to sell" with the "What we can actually make." You turn high-level forecasts into granular execution plans, ensuring that machines are humming, labor is optimized, and customers aren't left checking their watches.

Production Orchestration<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, backlog, and inventory targets.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Coordinate with Procurement to ensure raw materials are on-site and ready for the line (</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Release and track production orders, adjusting schedules in real-time to account for machine downtime or material shortages.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Plan inhouse part manufacturing</li></ul>2. Capacity & Resource Analysis<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Perform Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to identify long-term bottlenecks before they become crises.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Calculate labor requirements and machine hours to meet demand, recommending overtime or shift changes when necessary.</li></ul>3. Cross-Functional Synchronization<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Act as the primary "bridge" between Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure everyone is working from the same playbook.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;">Manage inventory levels to hit the "Goldilocks zone"—enough to fulfill orders, but not so much that it ties up vital capital.</li></ul>4.
