<p>You'll report directly to Jonathan (CEO & Co-founder) and Ciara (Co-founder), and work closely with the executive leadership team.</p><p>You'll collaborate across all functions — including Finance, People, Legal, Creative, Buying & Merchandising, Sales, Customer Success, and Support — while also engaging regularly with external stakeholders such as customers, partners, investors, and board members.</p>
<p>We're looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner closely with our CEO and Co-founder team, and lead the business through its next phase of growth.</p><p>This is a highly strategic and hands-on role with end-to-end ownership across operations, finance, revenue, people, legal, and logistics. You will play a critical role in building the systems, structures, and discipline required to scale efficiently and sustainably.</p><p>Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leadership while driving operational excellence across the organisation.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Strategic Leadership & Execution</strong></p><ul><li><p>Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, leadership team, and Board on company performance and strategic direction</p></li><li><p>Co-develop and execute the company's operational and financial strategy</p></li><li><p>Translate long-term vision into clear, actionable plans and measurable outcomes</p></li></ul><p><strong>Operational Excellence & Scale</strong></p><ul><li><p>Own and scale core business functions: operations, finance, revenue, people, legal, and logistics</p></li><li><p>Build and optimise systems, processes, and infrastructure to support rapid growth</p></li><li><p>Drive operational rigour and alignment across all departments</p></li></ul><p><strong>Performance & Planning</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead company-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes</p></li><li><p>Establish and track key metrics to measure performance and inform decision-making</p></li><li><p>Regularly assess business performance (including SWOT analysis) to guide short, medium and long-term priorities</p></li></ul><p><strong>Team & Resource Leadership</strong></p><ul><li><p>Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, forward-thinking operating team</p></li><li><p>Partner with leadership to prioritise resources effectively during periods of growth and transformation</p></li><li><p>Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement</p></li></ul><p><strong>Corporate Development</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead due diligence and commercial negotiations related to fundraising, partnerships, and M&A activities</p></li></ul>
<p><strong>Key Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Proven experience in a senior operational, financial, or general management role within a high-growth company</p></li><li><p>Track record of scaling businesses, ideally within a marketplace, e-commerce, or SaaS environment</p></li><li><p>Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with expertise in metrics, reporting, and modern data tools</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to drive both top-line growth and operational efficiency</p></li><li><p>Experience working cross-functionally with GTM, product, and operations teams to deliver strategic outcomes</p></li><li><p>Builder mentality with a hands-on, execution-focused approach</p></li><li><p>Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align teams around ambitious goals</p></li><li><p>High emotional intelligence, humility, and a collaborative leadership style</p></li></ul>
