<ul><li>Lead the development, verification and integration of the UAV Battery System.</li><li>Lead the communication, provide inputs and accept the deliverables of the supplier.</li><li>Manage requirements and traceability from high levels to the Battery System and Components levels.</li><li>Develop the Battery System design- and lifecycle-related documentation.</li><li>Translate the needs of customers and other stakeholders into the Battery System requirements.</li><li>Prepare and conduct the design reviews for the Battery System design.</li><li>Being responsible for the validation and verification of the requirements and generating compliance evidence for the certification by the aviation authority.</li><li>Work within a scaled agile environment to support the Product Owner.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Engineering degree, ideally in aerospace or electrical engineering.</li><li>5+ years of professional experience as a systems engineer in Battery System development in the aviation or drone industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the standard specifications and performance standards for the Battery Systems in airborne applications such as ASTM F3005, RTCA DO-311.</li><li>Good knowledge of the electrical, mechanical, cell technology and software aspects of the Battery design.</li><li>Ideally, you are experienced in technical leadership of development projects.</li><li>Experienced with drone systems and UAVCAN/DroneCAN.</li><li>Competent in systems engineering according to ARP4754A or equivalent.</li><li>Proficiency in development assurance and qualification standards such as RTCA DO-160, DO-254, DO-178 is a plus.</li></ul>
