Senior Mechanical Engineer

<p>Over more than 40 years of activity, our client has become a global leader in the development and manufacturing of recycling equipment, actively contributing to the implementation of Deposit Return Systems worldwide and earning the trust of international partners.</p><p></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Cluj-Napoca</p><p></p><p><strong>SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER</strong></p><p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Analyze technical requirements and project specifications</p></li><li><p>Design and specify mechanical components and assemblies for Reverse Vending Machines</p></li><li><p>Create, review, and release 3D models and controlled engineering drawings for fabrication and assembly</p></li><li><p>Prepare and manage Engineering BOMs and component specifications</p></li><li><p>Develop and apply engineering standards and design processes (DFX, DFMEA, Design Validation, Design Release)</p></li><li><p>Support Supply Chain in validating locally sourced components and implement necessary design adjustments</p></li><li><p>Drive DFM activities and quality-oriented improvements</p></li><li><p>Coordinate engineering changes based on manufacturing challenges</p></li><li><p>Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design</p></li><li><p>Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes</p></li><li><p>Experience in industrial equipment design</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Advanced level of English</p></li></ul>
