Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES will provide support for the monitoring of Ares Direct Lending Group European corporate debt and equity investments, including general portfolio management, quarterly valuation and reporting, supporting the potential restructuring of investments with senior investment professionals, as well as supporting ongoing fund raising and Key responsibilities include: Core responsibility of monitoring corporate debt and equity investment Providing assistance to deal teams with assigned investments and general portfolio management including quarterly valuation and reporting Supporting potential restructuring with detailed Excel financial models including cash flow analysis, and related capital structure restructuring analysis Utilizing firm’s proprietary software tools for company tracking Performing and helping manage mark-to-market quarter end valuations and process Analyzing portfolio trends and market leverage and price development. Another key responsibility is supporting SBS teams: Oversee day-to-day operations of the SBS team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Mentor and coach team members, fostering skill development and succession planning. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Lead and support cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation across functions. QUALIFICATIONS Experience Required: 10–15 years of relevant alternate investments, credit, or lending experience Strong intellect with solid quantitative, financial and analytical skills and attention to details General Requirements: Self-motivated; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments Strong attention to detail Creative problem-solving skills High integrity and trustworthiness Advanced Excel and Power BI skills Reporting Relationships Vice President, Strategic Initiatives There is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
