About the role:

We’re looking for a superstar Motion Designer & Videographer to join our in-house Creative team. The creative you produce doesn’t just support the business — it shapes how millions of Canadians experience Clutch for the first time.

This is a true 50/50 role. Half your time will be spent on the ground, capturing video, photography, and content across our facilities. The other half will be spent editing, animating, and building motion graphics that elevate everything we put out. You’ll shoot and edit customer testimonials, create motion graphic ads, animate brand elements, capture facility and process photography, and help define how Clutch looks and feels in motion.

This role is ideal for someone who’s equally comfortable behind a camera and inside After Effects — a hybrid creative who can shoot a testimonial in the morning and animate a logo reveal in the afternoon. Because this work is highly collaborative and hands-on, it’s based in a fully onsite environment, five days a week, working closely with our Creative, Marketing, and Operations teams.

What you'll do:

Shoot video and photography on-site at Clutch facilities, customer testimonials, process documentation, facility imagery, and team/culture content

Capture content with professional camera gear and iPhone depending on the context and platform

Edit video end-to-end, from rough cuts to final delivery with colour grading, sound, and graphics

Create motion graphics and text animations in After Effects for digital ads, social content, and brand campaigns

Produce logo animations, kinetic typography, transitions, and other motion design elements that strengthen the Clutch brand

Mine and re-edit legacy footage from past shoots into fresh, usable content

Support social media content creation with short-form video and motion assets when needed

Collaborate with the Creative Director and the broader Creative team to develop visual storytelling that connects with our audience

Manage and organize video and motion assets, maintaining a clean and accessible file structure

What you bring:

2–4 years of experience in videography, video editing, and motion design

Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro for video editing and After Effects for motion graphics and animation

Real cinematography and videography skills — you understand composition, lighting, lens selection, and how to get great footage in imperfect conditions

Photography skills with an eye for compelling imagery in documentary/editorial contexts

Ability to shoot confidently with both professional camera setups and an iPhone

A solid understanding of text animation, kinetic typography, and motion graphic design principles

Colour grading and basic audio mixing/sound design capabilities

Strong storytelling instincts, you know how to structure a narrative, not just make things look good

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

A portfolio or reel that demonstrates both production (shooting) and post-production (editing, animation) work

Nice to have:

Experience with 3D motion graphics using Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar tools

Logo animation and brand identity motion work in your portfolio

Experience shooting in industrial, automotive, or retail environments

Understanding of social media formats, specs, and best practices for short-form video

Experience working in a fast-paced startup or agency environment

Employment Type:

New, Permanent Full-Time
