<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality <strong>email templates</strong> and <strong>web UI components</strong>.</li><li>Establish and enforce <strong>front-end development standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks</strong>.</li><li>Ensure pixel-perfect, responsive, and <strong>cross-browser-compatible UIs</strong> and emails.</li><li>Review code, conduct performance audits, and resolve complex UI and rendering issues across <strong>varied email clients</strong> (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.).</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, design, product) to plan and prioritize front-end and email initiatives.</li><li>Mentor and coach frontend developers, fostering a culture of code quality and continuous improvement.</li><li>Oversee the <strong>integration of email templates</strong> with marketing platforms (e.g., Zeta, Braize, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).</li><li>Stay current on front-end trends, tools, and frameworks, especially in the email development ecosystem.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>6+ years of experience in <strong>frontend development</strong>, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior developer role.</li><li>Deep expertise in <strong>HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript</strong>, and <strong>Bootstrap</strong>.</li><li>Ability to mentor and coach other developers to achieve better quality and velocity</li><li>Advanced knowledge of <strong>responsive email development</strong>, including <strong>inline CSS</strong>, <strong>table-based layouts.</strong></li><li>Deep understanding of <strong>email client limitations</strong> and how to work around them (e.g., inline CSS, table-based layouts, etc.).</li><li>Demonstrated experience ensuring <strong>cross-browser and cross-platform</strong> compatibility.</li><li>Familiarity with front-end tooling (e.g., Webpack, Gulp), version control (Git), and CI/CD processes.</li><li>Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.</li></ul><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
