This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the material toolbox and library, with a strong focus on seasonal color development, approvals, and material innovation.</span></p><div><p><span>Ensures materials meet testing requirements, support brand elevation and enable the creation of an ambitious footwear product line.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><div><p><span>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</span></p></div><div><p><span>You are passionate about materials, sustainability, and quality - someone who brings both precision and creativity to the material toolbox that shapes our seasonal collections.</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><div><p><span>WHAT YOU WILL DO</span></p></div><ul><li><p><span>Develop and translate the materials toolbox, ensuring approved suppliers, optimized lead times, pricing and aligned global development each season</span></p></li><li><p><span>Source and select suitable materials and trims that meet quality and brand standards</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide seasonal development insights to Design &amp; Category to fuel innovation and differentiation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Execute quality procedures from early development through commercialization</span></p></li><li><p><span>Own and update development data and PLM to ensure product specifications are current</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage sample request forms, critical paths, and tracking of seasonal sample progress</span></p></li><li><p><span>Oversee the lab dip approval process and evaluate materials/suppliers against CSR and RSL guidelines</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain an organized internal material and trim library, confirmation samples archives, and sample tracking</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitor the seasonal materials calendar, ensuring development meets critical path gates</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain PLM component library</span></p></li><li><p><span>On occasion attend materials trade fairs</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist product development team by taking on smaller or special projects on a need basis</span></p></li></ul><div><div><p><br></p><p><br></p></div><div><p><span>ARE YOU THE ONE?</span></p></div></div><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a relevant field</span></p></li><li><p><span>3+ years development experience, fully competent in footwear product creation, including costing, materials, fit, wear, quality, and lasting</span></p></li><li><p><span>At least two years within a brand</span></p></li><li><p><span>AI lead tools experience is an advantage</span></p></li><li><p><span>Passion for materials, sustainability, luxury, and quality footwear</span></p></li><li><p><span>Well-organized, structured, self-motivated, and strong initiative taker - deadline-driven</span></p></li><li><p><span>Team-player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset</span></p></li><li><p><span>Inspires confidence through enthusiasm and drive, passionate about the brand</span><br><br><br></p></li></ul><div><div><p><span>HERE'S HOW TO APPLY</span></p></div><div><p><span>If you are ready to shape our materials toolbox and help build an ambitious footwear product line at Axel Arigato, apply today and join the next chapter of our creative journey.</span></p><p><span>Apply by submitting your CV.
