<h3>This is a remote position.</h3><div><b><b>AWS Specialist</b></b><h3><b>Overview</b><p>We are seeking an <b>AWS Specialist</b> to design, implement, and support cloud-based solutions that power AI-driven applications, data platforms, and client-facing systems. This role will focus on building and optimizing solutions within <b>Amazon Web Services (AWS)</b> while supporting integrations with <b>Azure, Tableau, Power BI, and DealCloud CRM</b>.</p><p>This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone with deep AWS experience and a strong understanding of <b>cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and modern application architectures</b>.</p></h3><h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Design, deploy, and manage <b>AWS-based infrastructure and services</b></li><li>Build and support environments for <b>AI/ML workloads, data pipelines, and analytics platforms</b></li><li>Implement and maintain <b>scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions</b></li><li><div>Support integration between AWS services and external systems including: <ul><li>Azure environments</li><li>BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)</li><li>CRM platforms (DealCloud)</li></ul></div></li><li>Develop and maintain <b>infrastructure as code (IaC)</b> using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation</li><li>Monitor system performance and optimize for <b>cost, scalability, and reliability</b></li><li>Implement <b>security best practices</b>, including IAM, encryption, and network controls</li><li>Support <b>CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes</b> for deployment automation</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud infrastructure and applications</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, data, and architecture teams to ensure <b>alignment with best practices</b></li></ul><br></h3><h3>Requirements</h3><h3><b>Required Qualifications</b><ul><li>4–7 years of experience working with <b>AWS cloud services</b></li><li>Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services such as: <ul><li>EC2, S3, RDS</li><li>Lambda, API Gateway</li><li>VPC, IAM</li></ul></li><li>Experience supporting <b>data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, or analytics workloads</b></li><li>Experience with <b>infrastructure as code</b> (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)</li><li>Familiarity with <b>CI/CD tools and DevOps practices</b></li><li>Strong understanding of <b>cloud networking, security, and architecture principles</b></li><li>Experience troubleshooting and supporting <b>production cloud environments</b></li></ul></h3><h3><b>Key Traits for Success</b><ul><li>Strong technical problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Proactive mindset focused on optimization and improvement</li><li>Adaptability in a <b>fast-paced, AI-driven environment</b></li><li>Strong collaboration across engineering and data teams</li></ul><br></h3></div><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
