JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Business Development Capture Manager to support the sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on new space technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead proposals and capture new business

Interface with the customer to understand their needs and requirements, and to explore solution trade spaces

Liaise between Engineering, Product, Finance and Legal teams to develop winning solutions for the customer

Conduct internal proposal reviews and approval processes

Support the development and implementation of sales strategies for government and commercial space sectors

Required Skills and Experience

Background in Space Related Technologies (In-Space Transport, Spacecraft design, Propulsion, etc)

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel

Ability to work independently

Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams

Excellent technical communications skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience working with Salesforce and similar customer relationship management tools

Experience working with Jira and similar project management tools

Experience with proposal and/or technical writing

Exceptional time management, organization, and coordination skills

Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while producing quality work products

Previous experience working on DoD and other USG development and deployment programs

Ability to hold and maintain a USG Security Clearance

Education & Work Experience:

BS Degree in Engineering, Business, or related

Preferred: MS Degree in Engineering, Physics, or MBA

10+ years relevant experience

Required experience closely related & discipline to space

Compensation:

Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000 to $175,000/per year

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package (base+bonus+equity) and is determined within a range. Your actual base salary will be determined on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Our benefit plans include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan, short and long term disability and life insurance. We also offer flexible PTO, along with 11 paid holidays, sick time and paid parental leave.

This is a full-time position in San Jose, California, Hybrid, or Remote. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required.
